Short-Term Running Goals:

In the next two years I hope to have a 400-53 800-1:54 1600-4:20 I want to run 4:50 for the mile before X-country season 2006

Long-Term Running Goals:

A sub 4 minute mile. An 800 under 1:50. At least 1 marathon. Preferably under 2:40.

Warm Up= 1200 in 4:08 (81-82-85)

1 by 1200= 3:58 (73-80-85)

1 by 400= 82

So I start out on warm up and my times are really not that fast. At least not for the same effort level that took me to much faster times earlier in the year. Then on the 1200 I have soo much trouble trying to keep up the pace. I dropped off after about 600 meter and began to slow down. During the next repetition which was supposed to be an 800 I start to go around and everything just feels extremely difficult. I heard the time of 82 which was slower than my warm up pace so I just decided to bag the workout at that point. Once things were going in the wrong direction.

Workout= 800 meter Warm up

200 meter Time Trial= 28.00

600 meter Time Trial= 1:38.65

Splits for the 600= (63-18-17) in 400-100-100

Comments= Well the time trails were to see where I was at as far as my fitness goes and its plain to see that have lost both speed (the 28 compared to numerous 27's) and some endurance even (1:38.65 when running all out when compared to 1:39 running relatively easy, and certainly not all out.)

Workout= 6.8 mile run around prospect park.

Time- 45:55

Average pace per mile- 6:45.15

Comment= so I got suckered into the run by my friends. I mean it was really long (relatively speaking) and while the first 3.4 miles were ridiculously easy the second 3.4 was much much harder. I guess it was fun just running with my friends. We were all together for the first 3.4 then we started to spread out. The hills were soo annoying.
